Lakeside believes that the concept of "best practice" lies in the outcomes of
our services. In order to achieve quality outcomes, we believe in hiring and maintaining
a truly competent and exceptional staff.
Lakeside's medical professionals hold a diverse background of experience from emergency
medicine, general surgery, neurology and primary care. Many of Lakeside's medical
professionals have years of outstanding services in occupational and environmental medicine.
Active participation in continuing professional and educational opportunities is
expected of every Lakeside medical professional. Dr. Johnson's leadership role with
the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine on both the national
and local levels allows Lakeside to stay abreast of regulatory and scientific
developments in the specialty. The Lakeside nurse practitioners and registered
nurses are active members in the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN).
Our staff holds leadership positions at the national, state and local levels.
One of Lakeside's nurse practitioners completed an eight week internship with the
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and serves as an expert resource
based on this experience.
As is evidenced by the superior team of medical professionals, it is unmistakable that
Lakeside not only understands "best practices in occupational health", but also lives up
to that expectation through quality care and a continued reach for going beyond excellence.
